              FAST  FASHION  AND MINDLESS CONSUMERISM

Today Fashion industry is the second largest polluting industry in the world after petroleum. We can always say fashion is all about Glamour and always think nothing is bad in it. We just meant to have dress up, wear good cloths, look good. But how can it pollute the Earth.

lot's of questions are there like why fashion is a polluting industry, we supposed to make people look good, beautiful GLAMOURS.

but why we are in this situation today because the phenomena of desire-want-social acceptability-mindless consumerism.

Below are the reasons for pollution in fashion industries:

• Fast Fashion

• Mass Market

• Mindless Consumerism

Need something like i need to quench my thirst, and i want that thing. there is a difference between both of them,

and somehow want gets turn into desire and we think need is what we want, we forget there is a huge difference between Need and Want.

once we use better things they start becoming the group and the acceptability.. social acceptability. it also drive the  desire and the want, wanting to fitting with the certain peoples just because of acceptability and when we started to want more and more then it goes into mindless consumerism.

And the term Fast fashion  is used to describe cheap trendy clothing that are very quickly coming in and out of style .Many fast fashion retailers introduce new products multiple times in a week in order to stay on trend . The increase in purchasing power on the part of consumers because of all this , fast fashion is challenging new fashion lines that are introduce on a seasonal basis by tradition. for the industry cheaper faster higher volume has meant great success as today the fashion industry is a three trillion dollar industry reaching its most profitable moment in history. when it comes to you and me the concept of fast fashion and these cheap prices make us believe that we're actually saving money that it's good for us but actually all that happening is that al fashion also.

Now a days the damage is restricted not only to industries but has spread beyond that.

It is labelled as an industries of pollution. Everyone needs fashion but in reality like every coin has its two side so fashion also have its two sides.

Its very important to understand between need and desire. At their core, “needs” are the things that we have to have in order to live a healthy, happy life.
